In the future... women will be on top. This book will have you questioning everything you thought about gender roles, fatherhood, love, and equality. Drown yourself in this sci-fi thriller that will have you nodding in agreement, or screaming bloody blasphemy. The Nursery employs humor, horror, romance, and an array of powerful characters, to deliver a thunderclap of a novel that explains how people navigate a world where our very freedoms are the monsters that eventually imprison us.

The set up of The Nursery is a chapter with the point of view of a particular character. Each chapter is usually very short, anywhere from 1 to 3 pages. The longer chapters with a very descriptive and critical scene are usually about 7 pages or longer. The author paints a very detailed scene with each chapter that leaves a mini cliff hanger that forces the reader to continue reading. This is what makes the book so hard to put down. The reader would have to continue reading for a few chapters until they can find what happens next for each character. All the different perspective of each chapter leads to a very satisfying ending yet leaves the reader thinking and yearning for more. I think this is an amazing book, possibly one of the best books I have read in the past 15 years.Product details

I found Chris' novel to be quite interesting. The change of perspectives from each chapter created a different type of story that i have never read before. I found the subject of The Nursery to be fascinating, I would recommend reading this novel, if your looking for an interesting, page turner.

The Nursery by Christopher Khamo - Review
I liked the interesting setting of the novel - a world where women are dominant and men subservient.
Christopher uses multiple points of view to move the story forward at a fast pace. Among the many interesting characters, my favorite is Alexandria
"Alexandria had always loved the color red. It was the color of passion, it was love, and blood, and danger. It was as constant as a warm hug, and as volatile as a bomb. Yes, Alexandria was red to the core."
There are several unpredictable twists in the story but the biggest is right at the very end, in the last line, in fact.
I liked that.
